Text Box: The response to today's Psalm sums up the emphasis in the readings which is God’s overflowing love for and pride in the human race. ‘He made us, we belong to him.’ ‘All the earth is mine.’ ‘When Jesus saw the crows he felt sorry for them.’ After calling the apostles Jesus then immediately tells them to proclaim this message for the kingdom of God is close at hand. We too can make the same proclamation by helping people to understand that they are loved. Many people need the reassurance that God does care for them and our awareness of such need becomes our daily response alongside the response to the psalm. ‘We are his people, the sheep of his flock’
